북한전략센터는 북한주민의 자유와 인권을 되찾고, 북한 내에 민주주의를 확산시키는 것을 최고의 목표로 삼고 있습니다. 이를 실현하기 위해 북한전략센터는 전문가들과 함께 통일 전략을 연구하고, 미래 통일 한국을 준비하는 인재 양성활동, 북한 내부의 민주화 의식 확산사업과 북한 인권상황을 알리는 교육을 진행하고 있습니다.

북한 학생들이 집단으로 등교를 하는 모습입니다.
남한과 달리 북한 학생들은 아침일찍 정해진 장소에서 학급(반) 별로 모여 등교를 합니다. 학교로 들어갈 때에는 줄을 지어 노래를 부르면서 가야만 합니다. 이때 부르는 노래는 주로 김일성, 김정일을 찬양하는 노래입니다. 학교 정문에서는 규찰대(선도부)가 인원 첵크와 옷차림 검사를 합니다. 옷차림이 단정하지 안고 소년단 넥타이, 김일성, 김정일 뺏지가 없을 경우 집으로 돌려 보내거나 처벌을 주기도 합니다. 이처럼 북한 정권은 학생들을 어릴적부터 조직적으로 관리하고 있으며, 이를 통해 당과 수령, 나라에 충성하도록 교육하고 있습니다./NKSC
